Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is a 3.426-mile (5.514 km) Grade 1 FIA-spec track in Austin, Texas. It hosts the Formula One United States Grand Prix, NASCAR's Texas Grand Prix, and MotoGP's Grand Prix of the Americas. Proposed in 2010, it is the first purpose-built F1 track in the U.S., designed by Tavo Hellmund, Kevin Schwantz, and Hermann Tilke.
