Autopolis
Autopolis is a motorsport race track located in Hita, Oita Prefecture, Japan. Built in 1990, the circuit is situated on a mountain plateau approximately 900 meters above sea level in the mountains of Kyushu. The track is known for its challenging layout with significant elevation changes and technical corners. Originally built with Formula One aspirations that never materialized, the 4.674 km circuit now hosts major Japanese racing series including Super Formula and Super GT. The remote, mountainous setting often creates unpredictable weather conditions, adding another layer of challenge for drivers and teams.
